Save the date: H2A Symposium 18 June 2026

Location: Bimhuis Amsterdam

Time: 10:00-16:00, followed by networking drinks

Hosted by: the H2A Association

On 18 June 2026, the H2A Association will host the fourth edition of its annual symposium in Amsterdam.

Since its inception in 2023, the H2A Symposium has been a barometer of the European and global hydrogen landscape. In 2025, the Symposium addressed the concrete steps needed towards large-scale implementation of hydrogen supply chains. Speakers and panels explored topics ranging from infrastructure readiness and financing models to regulatory frameworks and demand creation, with expert insights  from leading voices, such as Amsterdam Alderman Zita Pels, Tarek Helmi (Deloitte), Willemien Terpstra (CEO Gasunie), Ellen Ruhotas (CEO EcoLog) Santosh Raikar (Managing Director Silverpeak), and Michel Heijdra (Director General of the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth).

Over the past year, the global context has shifted. The geopolitical and geo-economic landscape has led to a stronger  focus on European strategic autonomy, with renewed emphasis on competitiveness, supply security and industrial resilience.  Hydrogen can no longer rely solely on its decarbonisation credentials; it must also demonstrate its role in strengthening Europe’s competitive position and energy independence.

The 2026 Symposium will dive deep into this new reality. Under the title “Hydrogen in a Fast-Changing World: Building European Resilience,” H2A will once again bring public and private leaders to Amsterdam to discuss the latest developments and insights. Speakers and attendees will include senior representatives from European institutions, national governments, industry, infrastructure operators, financial institutions and international producers, and much more.

We therefore invite you to save the 18th of June in your calendar, as it promises to be an exciting and dynamic day at the beautiful Bimhuis Amsterdam location, with ample opportunities to expand your network.

We look forward to welcoming you to Amsterdam!
