Connectors in the green
hydrogen value chain

Firan Hydrogen

As hydrogen becomes central to Europe’s decarbonisation efforts, Firan Hydrogen is helping shape this transition. Part of Alliander Next Grid, Firan Hydrogen develops and implements infrastructure for new energy networks, such as hydrogen and heat networks. In the Port of Amsterdam area, we design and build regional hydrogen networks that seamlessly connect entry and exit partners. Together with H2A partners we create a future‑proof hydrogen infrastructure that supports a climate‑neutral economy.

As hydrogen becomes central to Europe’s decarbonisation efforts, Firan Hydrogen is helping shape this transition. Part of Alliander Next Grid, Firan Hydrogen develops and implements infrastructure for new energy networks, such as hydrogen and heat networks.

Backed by Alliander’s expertise and a collaborative approach, we have been working since 2013 on innovative networks for hydrogen and heat that connect businesses, industry, and mobility to sustainable energy sources.

Our participation in H2Amsterdam aligns perfectly with this ambition. The Amsterdam region is rapidly evolving into a European hub for green hydrogen, with investments in production, import, and storage. Reliable infrastructure is essential to make this value chain work.

Together with the Port of Amsterdam, Firan Hydrogen is developing a hydrogen network in the Amsterdam port area, intended for companies that wish to use or produce hydrogen in the future. It forms a crucial link in the hydrogen value chain, with investments in production, import and storage.

By joining H2A, we strengthen collaboration between public and private parties and contribute to a shared vision for the hydrogen infrastructure of tomorrow. For Firan Hydrogen, H2A is a platform to share knowledge, create alignment, and work together on projects that are strategically important for the region and for the Netherlands.

Let’s build together the infrastructure that works today and is ready for the future.
